A new metabolomics group led by Jennifer Kirwan has been established at the Vetmeduni, one of Europe’s oldest veterinary universities. The Vetmeduni teaches, undertakes research and offers services designed to guarantee the health of animals in Austria. We view our work as our contribution to ensuring human health and the health of our animal companions, as well as for the production of healthy food. We’re looking for an analytically trained postdoc to conduct high quality analytical metabolomics research with a veterinary focus. This will include sample preparation, analysis and data analysis (including bioinformatics and peak identification) And naturally, this will all be following best practice quality management for metabolomics.
Candidates should be aiming to work towards habilitation.
